Andrade has won two fights in a row since losing to Valentina Shevchenko at UFC 261 in an unsuccessful attempt to win the UFC women’s flyweight champion. In her most recent outing, the Brazilian returned to the strawweight weight class where she was once champion and finished Amanda Lemos via a rare standing arm-triangle choke at the UFC Vegas 52 main event.
The 30-year-old from Parana, Brazil is the UFC’s no. 4 ranked strawweight and the 7th best women’s pound-for-pound fighter in the promotion. Andrade won the UFC women’s strawweight title with a body slam knockout of Rose Namajunas at UFC 237. Her reign was short, however, as she was dethroned by Weili Zhang during her first title defense at UFC Fight Night 157.
She owns a record of 23-9 with 9 knockouts and 8 submission victories. Andrade has been an underdog only four times in her UFC career, losing four times, including as the heavy +410 bottom dog against Shevchenko. As the betting favorite inside the Octagon, Andrade has been upset three times: at -240 odds against Raquel Pennington, -300 versus Marion Reneau, and most recently as the -195 favorite against Weili Zhang.

Fiorot meanwhile has won all of her first four assignments in the UFC. The Frenchwoman passed her toughest test to date in her most recent bout when she defeated former Invicta FC flyweight champion Jennifer Maia via unanimous decision at UFC on ESPN 33 last March 26th.
The 32-year-old from Nice, France is the no. 6 ranked female flyweight in the UFC. She is a former Extreme Fighting Championship women’s flyweight world champion and UAE Warriors flyweight champion. She joined the UFC in 2021 and is undefeated in four UFC fights. Overall, she has not lost since dropping her professional MMA debut in 2018. Fiorot has a record of 9-1 with six of her victories coming by way of knockout.
This marks the first time in her UFC career where Fiorot has opened as the betting underdog. In her previous four UFC bouts, She has not closed at odds longer than -200. Fiorot was the heavy -450 betting favorite when she entered the Octagon against Maia in her most recent bout.
