(Riders – Crandall 22, Washington 20, Loving 14; Rocks – Malcolm 17, J. Johnson 16, Harris 14)
Riders win 209-162 on aggregate

Leicester Riders will face London Lions in the BBL Play-off Final on Sunday after they rounded off a convincing aggregate win over Glasgow Rocks on Monday night.

The Riders held a 21-point lead going into the second leg after an impressive away performance on Saturday evening, led by Geno Crandall’s 32 points and 11 assists.

Coach Gareth Murray got the Rocks off to the perfect start as he drained a triple on Glasgow’s first possession, however that was followed by 17 unanswered points from Leicester as the BBL Champions turned the screw early.

The introduction of Fraser Malcolm off the bench helped steady the Rocks as he posted 13 points on 6-8 shooting in the first half. Glasgow regrouped in the second quarter and cut the lead on the night to single digits by the break.

With a near insurmountable margin between the sides going into the third period, the Riders again added to their aggregate lead as they looked to leave nothing to chance in their pursuit to add to their BBL Cup and Championship this season.

The Riders cruised to victory in the end, and booked a final showdown with the Lions, who overcame Bristol Flyers in their second leg on Sunday.

The ever-impressive Crandall again led the Riders with 22 points and eight assists, whilst Conner Washington added 20 points from the Leicester bench.
